Once we have captured the 3D measurements of a physical model, we convert that raw data into many different formats. Our team has the skills and tools to create everything from a simple rendering to a thorough first article inspection report. Our deliverables range from raw point clouds to STL files to fully parametric, 3D CAD models.
Although you can do almost anything with the 3D CAD model, keep in mind that many applications do not demand this high-level output. Requesting 3D CAD models when they are not needed can be a costly and time-consuming mistake. When a point cloud or mesh will do, there is no need to invest the time and money to have a 3D CAD model built. Confused? Don’t be.
