Perceptron ScanWorks V5

The Perceptron ScanWorks V5 3D laser scanner provides the largest field of view available in a line scanner with state of the art scanning.
The ScanWorks V5 is a common ScanWorks® platform providing tremendous accuracy. It uses solid state, non-contact, laser-based technology. Using triangulation, the scanner captures profiles generated by the intersection of a projected laser plane and the target topography.
The ScanWorksV5 features the V4i’s ability to capture accurate data on dark and reflective surfaces, but also offers several other features. Most notable is the ScanWorks® V5′s proprietary field of view projection. The sensor projects an accurate trapezoidal representation of the field of view showing the extents as well as the optimal scanning offset distance. This enables the user to become quickly familiar with good scanning practices and minimize redundant overlapping data.
